What business to invest in
So I'm a software engineer with a mechanical engineering background. Now the first idea I had was to do freelancing software for engineers. Though with AI getting better every year I feel worried to invest in that. I was thinking about content creation or an online shop selling physical items. Do you guys feel like it's worth investing in these or is it too saturated. I just want to invest somewhere where I won't be worried about getting replaced by AI. I'm aware that physical item business online can take investment. Though I don't want to invest too much too early. I want to test it. Furthermore, content creation does seem like the natural way to open up many potential doors and build a brand but it's really hard to know which niche to invest in and it does seem very saturated. Like it's hard to know which businesses work and which ones are more like a lottery. This kind of thinking is making it very hard to get started as I don't know what to invest in. What would you guys do? Any advice would be highly appreciated. Anyone started an online business from nothing? Also am I over reacting to AI. Should I invest in my software and mechanical engineering skills somehow. I am very worried it will be replaced if not now then in the near future as in five to ten years
