I started learning CAD today and i'm trying to apply the PAD option on the smaller rectangle surrounded by the white lines. I selected the opposite sides and applied pad option. I am unable to select the other two smaller sides idk why. It is showing me this error, how do i fix it?

I need to find the equivalent resistance between points A and C using horizontal plane of symmetry.
