Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on an open-source browser extension called Cursor AI Translator. The idea is pretty simple: you select text anywhere in the browser and an instant translation bubble appears right next to your cursor.

The project follows a local-first approach, so it can run with Argos Translate or Ollama for fast local translations, while still supporting optional remote APIs if needed.

Current features include:

• instant translation on selected text
• customizable translation bubble UI
• simple extension settings
• support for local engines and custom backends
• fully open source and community-driven

I’m still improving it and would genuinely appreciate feedback, ideas, bug reports, or contributions from anyone interested in browser extensions, local AI tools, translation workflows, or privacy-focused software.
