I need your little games and rituals with your cats!

My roommates have rescued a litter of four kittens, which has been really great except that their resident cat and my little guy have been deprived of playtime! Two of the kittens are especially dominating in group play, and one will work himself into a panting mess within minutes if I try using two wands at once. Our resources and other enrichment bases are covered (lots of litterboxes, cat trees, windows with bird feeders, etc), it’s really just play that’s an issue. I get wand toy time alone with my own cat twice a day and I do try to play with them as a group, but I’m lacking in lower-key ideas for the shyer cats. They also don’t like to be separated and will cry, especially if they hear a toy going behind a door (which will make the shyer ones stop playing). I’d love to hear simple games you might play with your cats that I could try if I get a cat alone in a room with no wand toy, or something a little more laid back than a wand so that they don’t get way overstimulated. I have food puzzles, but I don’t think they fill that same need.

Also I would love to hear simple games you might do while doing something else (e.g. one of the kittens gets a ride in my laundry hamper whenever I have to carry laundry up/downstairs) to maximize opportunities for play. I just want to make sure everyone gets the play and attention they need!

TLDR: Interactive play alone not enough in our multicat household, looking for simple games/rituals you have with your cats so that I can do quiet play when the rowdies are sleeping, when I’ve got one alone in a room without a wand, or can be worked into chores when I don’t have much time after work
