Hi everyone! I'm a Dutch tourism student currently writing my thesis on how an Australian walking tour operator can break into the U.S. market. The company specializes in premium, pack-free multi-day walking trips — think stunning landscapes, small groups, gourmet food, and unique experiences, all without carrying a heavy backpack.
I'm researching how American hikers and outdoor enthusiasts discover, evaluate, and book walking trips, and what role trusted communities like this one play in that process.
