Hi all. I'm at what I feel is the most critical crossroad of my career in ML and I need advice. After years at no-name companies and a year+ prep I finally landed two tier-1 offers.
The first one is at Nvidia, doing CV and sensor fusion work in their autonomous vehicle division. Very exciting space and team. Comp is around 350K.
The other offer is from Netflix, working in the recommendation team.Much less interesting work, but comp is around 450K.
Money aside, I think Netflix would pay dividends for my future career that Nvidia couldn't, putting me in the FAANG orbit. However the team and their scope is very uninteresting.
Would love to get some feedback and advice. Thanks in advance
EDIT. I'm receiving a lot of messages asking how to prepare and how to get call backs. When I was applying I had a couple of referrals but they did not go anywhere. I "cold" applied to both Nvidia and Netflix on their website. The one thing I spent time on was tailoring my resume for each job.
For leetcode prep I did Neetcode 150 twice and then I just grinded for about a year. Just leetcode premium doing the top 150 for all the FAANG+.
For system design and fundamentals I used Gradientcast. I did the 6 month pro plan. Then I did a mock with a friend of mine that works in FAANG.
