I'm 19F and I'm currently in college for a biomedical bachelors degree, I'm only a year in but im rethinking my decision. My goal was to become a pharmacist but after doing more research on it, I don't think it would be the right job for me. I absolutely do not want to spend all of this time and money just to go into my field of work and hate my job. Im currently working retail while in school. I'm detailed oriented. I have great work ethic, I've been there for almost three years and I train every new hire (while other employees have been there for 3+ years and they aren't asked nor responsible for training new hires), and after two years I was recognized for my exceptional dedication to customer service, sales, and teamwork. I'm very responsible and I show up everyday. My managers rely on me come in when someone calls out because they know I will. But I do not want to do retail forever. I feel like I'm not super interested in anything. I just want a stable, high earning job. I don't want a desk job. I like to more around, help people and I like receptive tasks but with some flexibility so I don't go crazy and feel like i'm in a simulation. Schooling-wise, I don't like reading or writing. I like to do hands on work, and learn as I'm working. I like working individually but with a team so if I need help, I'll have someone to ask. Im not super social so costumer service isn't the best for me but I can hold a conversation and I enjoy seeing the smile on someone's face after helping and solving their problem. I have patience to an extent so I think working with kids would be mentally exhausting for me. I hate chemistry and I can tolerate biology and math classes. I was thinking something in the medical realm but I'm just not sure. Like I said Im in college on the path to earn a bachelors degree but I'm thinking about transferring to do a program of some sort then going back for my bachelors degree. Please help!
