My rambunctious 1 year old screams his head off and thrashes around during diaper changes, especially poop. This started about 3 weeks ago.

Nothing works to distract him and he just gets so upset. He’s a big boy too, and I’m feeling super worn out from diaper changes. It feels like wrestling an alligator, even trying to stand him up to change his bum. He is very close to walking so he’s pretty determined to be standing whenever he can.

Is this normal ?! Did your kid do this ? What helped ?
