Hey guys, I’m a third year medical student from Australia. Our medical school has just decided to include our percentiles on our MSPE. When I started my studies we were told that our grades (or percentiles) wouldn’t be on our MSPEs at all, I even emailed the admin and confirmed this. So I didn’t care about my grades as long as I pass them and I spent most of my time studying for USMLE and doing research. Now they have decided to include our percentiles retrospectively which is very unfair. I’m not even sure what is my percentile but I’m positive that it’s in the middle. I’m very down and depressed rn. How bummed should I be? How bad it will look on my application?
