To preface, I have scoliosis in the case where my rib cage is twisted, so when you look at my torso my ribs appear twisted despite my shoulders being square to my hips. I don’t know if this really affects anything because I’ve been living with it my entire life at this point, but I do notice that I have an incredibly difficult time feeling what square is.

I also have hypermobility in my spine and an anterior tilt in my pelvis. Everything feels tight and too loose at the same time. I was never diagnosed with hypermobility because I don’t have my splits or crazy banana feet or hyperextension in my knees, but from the hips up, nearly every joint is hypermobile. I also have a very weak core because of this.

Any tips for feeling square? No matter what I do, I just can’t find the feeling. Even if I “look” square for a few moments, i can’t really identify the feeling, so I can’t maintain it or replicate it.
