I have been trying to pay rent through Venmo, which I have done for well over a year with no issues, and suddenly this month a message popped up saying an unknown error occurred when I tried to do an instant transfer. I ended up calling their help line 4 different times and all I heard back were variations on "You need to wait 24h with no transactions, then it will work" or "Wait 24h and then only do standard transfer, not instant transfer". So far none of these have worked, and I am curious if anyone else has had this issue and found some workaround. I would prefer to be able to do an instant transfer because my rent is already late and I would prefer not to wait another 5-7 business days to pay it. At least my landlord is understanding of my situation. Also for context, I have a debit card linked that I am attempting to do instant transfer from, just putting that out there because I have seen other comments on this sub recommending that.
