I've got one of my F1 jobs at Weston General Hospital - wondering if anyone has a current perspective on what it's like there these days? I know there were problems and it had a pretty bad rep a few years ago, leading to F1s and F2s being removed and sent to work at BRI instead - but I'm interested to hear what it's like now and if things have improved since then.

I'm only there for one four month block, with the other two jobs in F1 being at BRI. I've also heard that the F1s have a generic on call rota which covers medicine, gen surg and T&O no matter what your day job is - is this correct?

Tbh it's not going to be my first job of F1 and my other jobs at BRI look relatively tertiary/senior led, so as long as it's reasonably friendly and not completely dangerously unsupported I'm prepared to treat it as a few months that will make me a better/more confident doctor.
