I am 30 (F) dealing with so many new issues . It started last May when I had my gallbladder removed. A few months after I seemed fine but after the initial surgery my Heart rate went up like crazy and my chest hurt for a few weeks . Went back to working out and daily routines . Few months after I was very fatigued all the time and could barely get through daily tasks. In February of this year I had a colonoscopy & than in April a endoscopy.. this is where it’s been absolutely awful . I stressed to my dr after my colonoscopy that my heart rate and blood pressure sky rocketed and I have been very dizzy . She did the POTS test ( lie down , sit up , stand up ) my bpm went for 70’s to 125 . Waiting to go into cardiologist Friday to get a halter monitor . After my endoscopy in April I told the anesthesiologist that I was being worked up for POTS , he said that the procedure shouldn’t mess with it at all .. the next day I was so very sick .. nausea, stomach pain , headaches and near fainting . A week later I got so dizzy I fell and hit my head went to ER where they pretty much told me I need to get the POTS diagnosed with the cardiologist as soon as possible . My dr ended up putting me on propranolol 10mg until we get it figured out .. it hasn’t helped much and the dizziness, near fainting , headaches and heart rate still seem to be a big problem . I’ve had my mom staying with me while she can because I have 3 kids and am scared to do simple things like drive and care for them at this point . Just looking for some advice on what I can expect at this cardiologist visit and if there is hope they will get this figured out soon .. my bpm goes from 45-185 through day . I’ve been taking it easy and not going to gym so no reason it should be getting this high ..
