Hi brides! I just wanted to ask if anyone here was baptized abroad. I was baptized in a Gulf country, and unfortunately, we’re no longer able to return there. Because of this, I can’t request a new baptismal certificate with the annotation “For Marriage Purposes Only,” which is required by St. Benedict.

For those who were also baptized outside the Philippines, what did you do in this situation? Were there any alternative documents accepted or additional steps you had to take?

Just wanted to ask, does anyone know if St. Benedict Parish (SBP) is strict when it comes to requiring ninongs and ninangs to be married (preferably church-married)?

Also, is there a maximum number of ninong–ninang pairs allowed?
