My psychiatrist wants to start me on Straterra before trying any stimulants. I’m not necessarily against it but hate the fact it takes a minimum of a month to feel effects.

I’ve taken adderall off script before and it helps immensely. I haven’t shared that with him yet and debating whether I should.

I’d obviously prefer to be put on adderall or vyvanse because I have more confidence they’ll work.

Any way I could convince him to prescribe a stimulant instead of straterra? Or am I out of options and will have to try out Straterra first?
