I haven't seen much discussion about this topical applicator device, so I wanted to share my experience using it with 0.005% finasteride. I was looking for something to speed up my morning application and ensure I got more product on my scalp, reducing the greasy look. The dropper method was too time-consuming, and the cheap Amazon rollers didn't work well, possibly due to the finasteride's viscosity. I was initially skeptical of the Rootique due to the price and lack of reviews, but I was concerned about using topical finasteride with it. However, they advertised a "flex" mode for thicker topicals, so I decided to try it. While it didn't deliver the right amount in regular mode, it works great on Flex, delivering about 1 ml in 15 seconds without making my hair look greasy. My only question now is how long the device will last.

As for the low-dose finasteride from ULO with topical tretinoin and minoxidil, I'm using it because I experienced side effects from previous finasteride formulations. I tried Hims, Keeps, Xyon, and others, and they all eventually caused the same issues, some quicker than others (Hims/Keeps vs. liposomal/Xyon). While they likely worked, stopping them resulted in the worst shedding I've ever had. After four months on the low-dose formula, a lot has grown back and stabilized. It's not as dense as before, but I've definitely seen some recovery, and so far, I've had no side effects. It's a tolerable option for blocking DHT. Hopefully, this helps anyone looking for alternative treatments.
