I have come to LOVE building ships made to be crewed. I watch WAY too much Star Trek. So I was all too thrilled when the large Drake bridges were released, and stair habs!

This ship has two decks, lower is for crew quarters and mess, basically where the crew will go when off duty. The upper deck is all business: battle stations, engineering, computer systems and a med bay. The captain has an office and private quarters with personal dining room.

Ship building scratches SUCH an itch for me. My wife watches and critiques my builds and teases me that I spend more time in the ship builder than I do playing the adventure part of the game or even flying the ships I build 🤣

My family owns land that has a 5 acre creek-feed pond. It was stocked with LMB, crappie, pan fish, and catfish back in the late nineties/early 00's. That's it, the rest of our stewardship has been mowing, weeding and clearing of some trees (and we're not always great at it). We don't treat the water, or feed the fish. And it gets fished a few times a year by my father and I, some years we don't touch it.

We've caught some bigs, but no monsters.

I'm surrounded in the city by heavily pressured water, I went today to get some bites and cheer myself up. Is it kinda "cheating" like the guys that have manicured, managed, treated water, and pellet feed fish? 🤣

I want to eventually make this myself. I loved mods in Skyrim and how there was such availability to find a mod for almost anything you could think of and I want to be able to make my own for my own desires in game.

Would it be possible to change the animation for only some cockpits but not others? Basically I want to make a mod where the ship bridge modules have a seat without the control panel and different sitting animation. If it's bridge with crew seats then the captain shouldn't be piloting! If I'm the captain I should determine the heading and tell the pilot to "Engage!"

Are my dreams the stuff of pipes, or is this feasible? If not I'll find something else to sink my teeth into for a first mod.
