Fixing broken irrigation line
I've got about 300' of buried pvc irrigation line that I laid about 5 years ago. I think this past winter finally did it in. I always blow the line out before the first frost but something must have shifted or otherwise cracked it because it won't build any pressure and the water fill just runs forever.
So what's the best way to try and find the leak? It's about 2 feet down. I can quickly narrow down sections and rule out where the break isn't but unless I get really lucky and see shattered pipe, I don't want to drill holes and see if water sprays out. What's a good way to test the integrity of the pipe at certain intervals?
