Going into my sophomore year of college, working almost every day and pursuing a degree in biochemistry. (Seeking help/advice)
I’m going to keep this short. I’m becoming increasingly overwhelmed and stressed about my current situation and future. I want nothing more than to get my degree in biochemistry, but working (35 hours a week) and studying (10-20 hours a week) as a full time student takes so much of my time and I know it will take more as I take harder classes in the fall such as organic chemistry and calculus. I created a budget and routine with a heavy emphasis on staying disciplined, but am really considering leaving my job for something with less hours. I’m curious to know what others are or have done while in school to maximize productivity, prevent burnout, and balance both school, work and their social life. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
