Hey everyone,
I’m trying to improve my eBay listings and would really appreciate some advice from people who’ve been selling cards longer than me.
My first set of auctions ended with no bids, and I’m trying to understand what I should change before I try again. I want to make sure my listings are structured properly and that I’m doing everything I can to make them visible and appealing to buyers.
I’m not just looking for small tweaks — I want to understand what actually makes a listing convert into a sale.
Here are the areas I’m unsure about:
• Titles – which keywords matter most for F1, F2, F3, Disney, etc
• Pricing strategy – $1 auctions vs Buy It Now with Best Offer
• Listing structure – what details matter, what doesn’t, and how much to include
• Visibility – how to get more eyes on a listing without over-promoting
• Timing – best days and times to end auctions
• Bundling – when to bundle lower-demand cards vs list individually
• Buyer behaviour – what collectors actually look for in lower-tier cards
• Common beginner mistakes I should avoid
I’ll attach links to my current listings below so you can see what I tried and tell me what needs improving.
Any advice is appreciated — I want to build good habits early and actually get some sales moving.
