A sister, whose husband recently joined the congregation despite their children's objections (the children HATE the witnesses), fell ill and required a blood transfusion, naturally, they refused. The HLC was heavily involved until the children intervened.

They managed to obtain a restraining order against the brothers from the HLC and their mother. I didn't think this was possible, and I wonder why no one else has reported doing this.

Sadly, the husband died right when the order was granted. As a result, the children are blaming the mother for his death, accusing her of withholding medical treatment that could have saved his life and threatening to sue the organization. They've even decided not to have his funeral at the KH but at the Catholic church, where he had been a member for many years.

The brothers are livid, accusing the brother's children of not respecting his wishes and saying that he must have been the ones to deny the blood transfusion. If that were true, would his children have been able to obtain the restraining order? I am thinking the brother said yes to the transfusion and the wife and HLC were trying to force him to do otherwise🤷🏽‍♀️
