I’m turning 20m in june. Im not so much as suffering. But im kind of lost. I don’t really know how to process or approach the direction of where i want to lead my 20’s and thus lead me to reddit hoping to find answers or advice. While i do live with my parents, im striving for real, tangible independence.
I’ve been trying to find things to actually target. School has come up dry for me, i’ve been job hunting the day out of high school and i’ve come up dry. My biggest hurdle if i had to say is getting a car since it allows for stronger opportunities, since i don’t have that im kind of limited in range as to how far i can apply for jobs. School in all honesty is not something i want to pursue currently, trades has been more appealing and something i’ve been wanting to do, but im lost on how to join the union or any private company so any help or advice would be much appreciated.
There’s lots going on, needing a job for one, car for 2 which i personally think is the biggest hurdle, and which career path to pursue for 3. And if anyone has any tips, advice, or honestly and criticisms i am all for it, im just hoping to see fresh perspectives or different ways to approach my 20’s.
