Anyone that has Kourend and a Tonalztics of Ralos that wants to bless their quiver for the task, I've created a Sunfire Splinter Generator.
RATES WILL VARY DEPENDING ON YOUR AMMO REGEN CHANCE
How it works:
Ralos is charged with Sunfire Splinters, using 1 charge per attack.
150% Ammo Regen from pacts gives a 100% chance to regen 1 charge, and an additional 50% chance to regen a 2nd charge. That means that every attack has a 50% chance to generate 1 Sunfire Splinter.
Normally, Ralos is very slow, so going afk at gemstone crab with its regular 6t attack speed (rapid) would take ~300 hours to bless quiver. However, Crabs in CoX reduce your attack speed to 1t, as well as being an incredibly useful, undying splash target for you.
Hop into Chambers and reload your raid until you have Crabs as your first room.
In this clip, I dragged the crab out of its aggression range, and it ended up backing up and getting stuck on a wall. I could then safespot it alongwith the scavs that spawn in the room with no risk in this 1 tile wide area.

Retrospectively, it's slower than any of the active alternatives to farming sunfire splinters, but hopefully some people may find it useful.
KEEP IN MIND:
Ralos can hold a maximum of 20,000 charges at a time. It's a good idea to empty it every once and a while, then refilling a couple charges to begin the stacking process again.
THEORY:
People might be able to utilize this same mechanic to gain afk Magic XP as you still get the XP for casting combat spells against crabs.
