U can get 40% def reduction for free just by playin with the Spider boots and the Craftable Rapier . That's a non negligible amount of dmg u can get from that.
And on top of that if u have the Golem Piece u can cut ur Normal skill CD by 50% to 100% depending on level which make more Burns stack and even more Def reduction with more burst gauge.

That's the most BS thing I've seen in an open world .
No matter how invested ur character is , how many millions of dmg he can dish out . Once the character Isn't in the recomend element then ur useless .
Cuz enemy has 2 billions resistances that make ur 1.5M attack do 30k
How am I supposed to invest in a character if he can only beat 1/10th of the game ?

What the points of elements if we get bosses that doesn't care ?
Might as well just restrict team building by the recomend elements .
Character like Burst Elaine died because of the abyss and junction system .
She was supposed to be a good all elements burst support but now she just trash at everything cuz if light Isn't a weakness she will build no burst gauge at all.
I feel like we need neutral back on endgame. Even if it make the challenge harder and everything. Game should be clearable by everything if invested properly in consequence.
Like junction for exemple u can play only escanor and meli for first sector cuz their only good dps on these elements.
Lucky for us that's the characters almost everyone invested on.
Next week we get Light and Ice on Sector 2 .
