I have a parent who constantly cancels their child's appointment, and it is regularly last-minute. My office has a policy on no-call/no-shows and people losing their recurring appointments, but the wording around cancellations is vague. Over the past 3 months, I have seen this kid twice, even though they have a weekly appointment. That's a time slot I'm not getting paid for, but more importantly, we have a waiting list, and that's a time slot where I could be seeing someone else who will make it a priority. Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me here?
