I bought myself a Virago 535 not too long ago, which I’ve been tinkering with. It’s been a great learning process for sure. However, when I tried to find the correct wiring diagram for my bike, nothing ever seemed to match. I searched like crazy and even bought repair manuals, they are suppose to have what you need right? nope 😞
After a long time scouring the internet, I finally found it… it turned out to be a British wiring version (the only one I could find that matched everything, including the carb heaters) on my “German” bike 🤔
The wiring diagram I found was a poor black-and-white scan from a service manual. So I decided to make things simpler and started cleaning it up and adding color coding. For some reason, I became slightly obsessed with it and now I’m here with a fully finished wiring diagram.
Not only that, I vectorized all the components, so you can scale it to any size you want. If you feel like tracing wires with your feet, that’s a real posibility too 😉
I’ll link my Google Drive if anyone wants the original file to edit (I used Affinity). There will also be a PDF for printing (base scale is A3) and a PNG.
