Are Fisheries worth it?

Playing as Portugal, i have 10 coastal cities aiming to maximise Navigation School. Is it worth it to build Fisheries in every city, moving around Liang. Or is the Shipyard benefit better?

How to be the best Ally?

For Peaceful MP games, where everyone sits around simming together, how do we build the best Ally?

Off the bat, Cleopatra provides 2 food to people trading with her. Jaoa can improve their otherwise boring coastal tiles with Feitoras. What other things can we do to assist our allies?

Recently I've been flooding my ally's lands with railroads, and mountain tunnels to ease traversal.

What else can we do? University of Sankore?

Was watching a Herson vid where he mentioned Comm Hub openers and that some civs wanna go Holy Sites or Harbours instead. He also mentioned Viet Nam being unique in their opening as well.

Are there any guides on this stuff? I've seen the Zigzagal guides on Steam, but they are for Singleplayer, and I'm not sure if they are upto date or not.

Playing MP, i see people say that 8-11 cities is the ideal. But if you're just pushing towards a victory, and can support further cities with amenities (which become trivial late game), is there a benefit to planting more cities, or does the production cost of new districts make it irrelevant (outside of having a governor buy districts).

At what point does it become detrimental, or simply not worth it, to settle more?

Been jamming MP with mates and while Germany Japan etc are great for simming, my friends have varying skill levels so i don't want to be completely stomping them.

I've been enjoying the Aztecs lately, bullying city states to enslave recruit workers. But found that without AI in the way, I don't want to be bullying my mates.

Portugal was also fun for "improving" my friends' coastal cities.
