Planning to buy a laptop around ₹1.5L mainly for Blender, Unreal Engine 5, learning Houdini, VFX/rendering work and some gaming. Looking for something with an RTX 5060-class GPU, strong CPU performance, good thermals and decent upgradeability that’ll last me a few years without issues. Right now I’m considering the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, but I’m still comparing options from Lenovo, Alienware, etc. Would like to know what laptops people here would recommend for a proper 3D/VFX workflow and whether the Predator is actually a good choice in this range or if there are better alternatives.
