To me, anyway. I am no professional, but I believe this is a female American Goldfinch. The whole day she hung around my vehicle; either sitting on my mirror like she's doing here or standing by that passenger window looking into the vehicle or just hopping around the hood and looking into the vehicle through the windshield. She was chirping most of the time. She didn't look injured, but she wasn't too skittish when I was around. This lasted a few hours. She seems to have left. Any possible explanations for that? Was she just telling me to clean it?
