Hi! This summer me and my bestfriend are planning a paddleboard/camping girls trip around Gaspesie. We're planning to be out there for a week or two. We'll mainly be staying on camp grounds so we'll be able to shower, do laundry and all that stuff but we kinda wanted to do a week of stealth camping (not sure if that's the term for it). Is there any option of soap that could be used to clean ourselves or our clothes in the water? I know the regular stuff is pretty bad for marine life and the water. Maybe all of it is bad and we should just suffer through till next camp ground. We dont camp a lot so we're not too sure how to go about a long trip while staying eco conscious. Any advice for long camping trips would appreciated!
Edit: Hi again, thanks to everyone for their advice and help. Me and my friend will be investing in a camp shower with a small tent for privacy and bring some wipes. Also, as many people said in the comments, absolutely not using any soap in the water. We'll use biodegradable soap and make sure to dump our shower, clothes or dishes water at least 200ft from any lake or stream we camp nearby. Thank you again!
