I've believed in multiple revenue streams since high school. I'm in my thirties, I’ve finally gotten my "stack" to a place where I feel secure without a traditional 9-5. Here is what I’m running:
Stream 1: Consulting Business. My primary focus. Tech support and consulting for individuals/small businesses.
Stream 2: Community Education. I teach continuing Ed classes and do local educational gigs. It’s active work but very fulfilling.
Stream 3: The Duplex. I "house hack"—live in one half, rent the other. This covers a huge chunk of my living expenses.
Stream 4: Dividends & HYSA. Every extra dollar goes into stocks and high-yield savings. It’s the smallest stream, but the most passive.
I'm curious on what other people have done or if they do a multi-prong approach like this.
