What do y'all think of the 2021 series? I watched the first season yesterday, it was rather short, most Netflix stuff is. There are parts I like. I like how they gave them interesting new backgrounds, I like that Skeletor came off more menacing, and I like the pace of the action. What I don't care for is how all of the episodes are part of one story, I'd have preferred a bit of variety with different story lines, like the 80's cartoon. But since Netflix is obsessed with uber short seasons.. I guess that's how it goes. Stranger Things could have used more episodes and more side stories rather then always being about the Upside Down but such is life.

Teela would have to be my fave.. she reminded me Kitty Pryde from the 80's.. not because of her powers obviously, but her attitude.

Apple/Itunes has all three seasons of the 2021 Netflix series of Masters now, they didn't before as far as I know.

The down side, its titled "He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe" so it gets put under the same icon as the 83 series. So the episodes get put together as episode 1 and episode 1, etc, and so on. Autoplay figures it out and goes from 1 to 2 rather then 1 to 1 to 2 to 2 but its still messy. Apple needs to rename the series "He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe (2021) in order to separate the two. So just a heads up..

I picked up most on clearance but paid 3x the price for Skeletor since I guess he's from the first wave, and most from that wave are hard to come by like Man At Arms and Beast Man. I may get one or two more. I'm thinking Orko or She-Ra even though she's out of the MOTU loop now that Dimension owns her. Not sure if I'm posting this because it keeps asking for flair and I have no clue what flair is. 😛

I wasn't aware that the 28th was MOTU day until last month, but I wasn't aware that the 26th was Aliens day.

So what are y'all planning for tomorrow.. since its the sacred and holy MOTU day?

Cosplay?

Buying more of the toys

Watching the 83 cartoon and trying to figure out how his own parents didn't know that He-Man was just their son with a tan?

Watching the 87 film and wondering how it all went so wrong?

I may watch the movie again, maybe order the Skeletor from the movie line, dig the head sculpt and the cape..
