What car specs are used for multiplayer? In career mode you can get lvl 11 parts. What parts are applied to multiplayer and quick races? I play career mode mostly and am wondering if I’ll get the same times in multiplayer? Basically I use career mode for practice so am I going to have the same performance in multiplayer or am I going to have to set the car up differently?
That’s talk multiplayer… I’m on PC and can’t wait for cross play to be implemented. (apparently it’s supposed to be coming?) but am I the only who feels like multiplayer isn’t rewarding enough? It needs some sort of progression system. Right now it’s just jump in a car and drive around a track, no penalties for reckless driving or rewards for a clean 1st place finish. I wouldn’t mind if they just made an online career mode. Just implement the career mode into multiplayer, give everyone a garage so they can repair, upgrade, tune and test drive their cars. (When I say “repair”,I mean the overall wear and tear from racing, not from damage. Damage has to be off in public lobbies, too much grieving.) I feel like multiplayer needs something to keep you coming back and keep you racing.
Or a customizable “Calling Card”, like a big license plate for the back of your car. Customizable backgrounds, frames, accolades, show’em who you are as you pass them for the lead. But that’s only if we can get cross play and dedicated servers. I like how Forza motorsports did their online mode. The races were set at specific times. Join a lobby (practice), drive around and make adjustments while the lobby fills. Once the race starts, the lobbies are merged and you have a full race the majority of the time. Only problem I see is race length, tire wear, and fuel usage. Those would have to be set and predetermined by the developers. Everyone’s different, I would like a moderately long race length with at least two pit stops, and no stages. How do you guys feel about multiplayer? Do you like how it is now?
How does one turn on voice chat? I’ve been racing in multiplayer lobbies but there is no voice chat? I’ve seen videos of players talking to each other during races but I can’t get it to work. I’m on pc
