Would switching to cachyos from Windows be too much of a jump?
hi, computer science student who is a big noob in overall technology. i have been thinking about switching to a linux based os for. a good while now, mostly because almost all of my classmates use it as their daily os. tho really, i have no idea what to do myself. i know nothing about the terminal and linux in general but i really want to get cachyos+hyprland because one of my friends has that setup on his laptop and looked beyond cool. so yeah the question is: would i be better of switching to something like linux mint which i know is a bit more beginner friendly, or would you guys reccomend me just to switch to cachy and start learning from there. also, i know that next semester i have an operating systems class which will most probably need me to work in the linux terminal. so i don't know if having cachy os could mess something up.
