I handle payroll and basic HR tasks for a small team and we are starting to outgrow what we currently use. I am realizing that not all payroll systems are built the same and I probably rushed the first decision and now I am trying to be more intentional about what matters long term

For me it comes down to how easy it is to set up how consistent the pricing is and whether I can trust it to run without constant oversight. Support is also a big one since I do not want to be stuck waiting when something comes up

Those who have gone through this what factors ended up mattering the most for you once things were up and running?
