Did the way the lottery played out make the first four picks incredibly predictable?
I can’t stop thinking about how, with how the lottery played out, the first four picks are almost set in stone now..
Wizards - Dybantsa: was already favored pick 1 and now wizards clearly select him due to team fit and strong potential
Jazz - Peterson: they have a great frontcourt already with Lauri, JJJ, Kessler, so Boozer and Wilson don’t make sense. Peterson fits perfectly to their needs while also being high potential
Grizzlies - Boozer: a great pairing with Edey, sure maybe they go Wilson but it just feels like a clear value add and good fit to grab Boozer as his shortcomings are somewhat masked by Edey
Bulls - Wilson: last of the top 4 and makes for a good young team with Buzelis and Giddey
Maybe there will be shakeups but I feel like we all see it play out this way? Kind of lessens the suspense of the first picks this year but it is what it is. Only real shakeup I see is Grizz going Wilson instead of Cam
