I live in a densely populated area of a Mundamveli, near Thopampady in a house we bought 4 years ago. The thing is we barely ever receive direct supply from the municipality. I’m forced to use the motor to directly pull water from municipality supply line during the time when the water supply is supposed to be given. And this window is at 5ish am and 6ish PM and keeps changing. So we have to always do trial and error to be able to fill water. It is so frustrating. In the previous rented apartment I lived in the same area, the ground tank would always have sufficient water from the KWA supply, so I would not have to worry too time the motor. I would just fill the tanks using the water from the ground tank whenever water ran out in the overhead tank. But in this new house, we don’t have this “luxury”.
I talked to a few people, and what I’ve understood is that we can not directly complaint to KWA regarding this as the direct motor connection we have (which everyone has in my area) is illegal and the KWA would fine me for it if they found out.
So now I’m stuck with having to time the motor and shortage of water.
Please suggest what I can do to get out of this problem?
