Ender 3 V2 Firmware Help
I've been 3d printing for almost 10 years now on my trusty ender 3 v2, i've had to replace parts over the years but never had big issues. Unfortunatly recently i fried my motherboard in a cleaning accident. As i've done in the past i ordered a new part, followed online guides to replace it. A problem here is that finding the firmware for it was abit of a challenge, it had to work on the printer model (Ender 3 V2), the board model (V4.2.7) and the BL touch i have on it (one of the few upgrades i did).
I thought i found it on the creality website and installed the firmware. Everything spun up correctly and i got to calibrating, even did some okay test prints. But a few days past and now the printer just does the first few lines of gcode (i.e. Home all axies, bed level) and then it says 100% complete and stops, even in scripts with like 27k lines that the printer printed fine earlier this week.
All my research online seems to blame the firmware saying that version was unreliable. I don't know what else to do. I've always used official firmware (cause ive also never really had to update firmware other than when installing upgrades) but the more time passes the harder it is to find official stuff for ender 3 v2. I don't wanna buy a new printer when this one has worked so well in the past, and is so good in terms of reparability.
I've seen some (alot) of people talk online about other firmware like mriscoc professional firmware but i'm abit aprensive to try non official firmware on the machine. I don't wanna break parts that are working like the lcd screen. But im also not an idiot i know Creality is in no way perfect when it comes to software (i've always used cura slicer and never liked creality's).
Any feedback would be helpfull. (Sorry for spelling mistakes, English is not my first language and my spelling is already not great in that one)
