My slightly autistic husband repeats himself when he gets excited or feels strongly about something. More often than not (I’m sorry to say), I can’t stop myself from saying ‘yes, you already said that.’ I know he can’t help himself. I know that he’s just expressing his enthusiasm. I know I should be the adult and let it go, I shouldn’t let it annoy me, I should be more patient. Sometimes Im not, but I continue to be annoyed by it. Any suggestions? Thanks!
