I really wish someone told me to research jewelry insurance more carefully before choosing a company. After filing a claim, my natural diamond was replaced with a lab grown stone and I was shocked. I assumed replacement meant replacing it with the same type of diamond but apparently that’s not always how it works. Please make sure you read every detail of the policy and research the jewelers they work with before trusting them with something valuable and sentimental.
