For anyone whose stye/chalazion ruptured on the surface—did you get a white mark afterward? Mine popped about a week ago; the bump is gone, but there’s a small white spot left. Is this normal healing or something to worry about? And what actually helps it fade faster?
I had a stye/chalazion that naturally partially ruptured on the surface of my upper eyelid around April 25. Then I had a chalazion removal procedure on April 28.
Now, about a week later, the eyelid is improving overall, but at the exact spot where it ruptured externally, there is a small white, slightly raised area. It’s not oozing, but it’s a bit tender when I press it. I’m concerned about whether this is normal healing tissue or if it could turn into a scar or indicate residual chalazion
