She’s 13 and my soul dog. Less than a week ago she started leaving the room anytime I was sat near her after a lifetime of being my shadow.
She refuses to sit next to me anymore and no longer sleeps with me & my other ig. She straight up leaves the room to sleep upstairs or in the kitchen. The only exception is when I’m sat at my desk & she sleeps in a bed at my feet.
For meal & snack times I’m her best friend but I’ve suddenly been downgraded to the provider of food. She’s still enjoying walks and stealing every sock and toilet roll she comes across.
I’m calling the vet tomorrow to get her checked but has anyone else experienced this? My heart is broken with the fear of a) we’re close to the end or b) she’s not that into me anymore.
The only thing that’s changed is I’ve had Botox so I’m really hoping her crazy sense of smell is just disgusted by my face and this is temporary.
