I know a lot of people already have their go-to TS, but if anyone is looking to try someone new, I wanted to share a really positive experience I had with a lesser-known seller named Skye. I’ve honestly loved working with her so far.

Seller: Skye (WA ending in 8163)

Item:
- Medium Loewe Flamenco
- Loewe berry bag charm

Factory: Liusheng

Price:
$255 shipped

Timeline:
- Deposit paid: 4/20
- PSPs + video received: 4/22
- Package photo + tracking sent: 4/23
- Delivered to US: 5/4

Experience:
Skye has been incredibly professional, responsive, and patient throughout the entire process. I had a lot of questions and she answered everything without ever seeming annoyed or rushed. One thing I really appreciated is that many of her prices are already listed directly in her catalog and include shipping, which made the process feel very transparent and easy.

Her process was smooth:
- deposit paid first
- she ordered from factory
- sent PSPs/videos for approval
- then sent payment link for remaining balance before shipping

Now for the bag itself… I’m genuinely impressed.

The second I opened the package I could smell that rich leather scent. The leather feels incredibly smooth, soft, and supple — exactly what you want from a Flamenco. The slouch and drape are beautiful in person and the bag feels very luxe overall.

The berry charm is also adorable and adds such a fun touch without looking cheap or overly flashy. Hardware tone looked good to me and stitching/details were very clean throughout.

Overall, this absolutely feels like a high-tier rep to me and I would definitely order from Skye again.

Genuine question because I’ve been thinking about this lately…

When working with sellers, what’s your comfort level when it comes to payment structure?

Some sellers require full payment upfront before production/shipping, while others only ask for a deposit first and the rest later (sometimes after PSPs or before shipment).

I’m not sure if full upfront payment has always been the norm or if I’m just noticing it more now, but from a buyer’s perspective it can feel like a lot of trust is involved. Once payment is sent, you’re basically relying on everything going smoothly.

On the flip side, I’ve worked with a few sellers who only ask for a deposit upfront, and it feels a bit more balanced but I’ve also heard mixed experiences.

So I’m curious where everyone stands:

• Do you prefer sellers who require full payment upfront, or deposit-first?
• Does one feel safer than the other in your experience?
• Are there situations where one method is more standard than the other?

And for anyone who’s had good experiences if you know trusted sellers (TS) who offer deposit-first instead of full upfront, feel free to drop their info (or initials if needed) so others can check them out too.

Would love to hear real experiences (good or bad) and what’s worked best for you.
