Is there any way to make Windgrace B5?
Hey all!
I’m tuning a Bracket 4 Lord Windgrace list that’s built to play like a land-based spellslinger/combo deck: the main plan is to turn lands into mana, cards, and asymmetrical pain through engines like Squandered Resources, Life from the Loam, Crucible effects, Coffers + Urborg + Candelabra, and fast mana, then convert that into brutal swing turns with Death Cloud / Thoughts of Ruin / Tectonic Break + Tergrid, or straight-up kill with Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, or Scapeshift + Valakut + Dryad/Prismatic Omen; it also has more compact explosive lines like Ad Nauseam / Bolas’s Citadel / Beseech the Mirror, and even Beseech into Natural Order into Nyxbloom Ancient to set up absurd mana. The goal is nasty, salty, asymmetric, fast prison for its own sake. I’d love feedback on whether this reads like a true Bracket 4 list, and what I can do to bring it closer to bracket 5. (and if Windgrace can even compete in a bracket 5 table)
