Hey everyone,

I am currently attending online college part time and I’m about a year away from finishing my associate’s degree. I’m active duty military working full time, and I also have a wife and a baby, so my time is definitely limited, BUT I’m willing to make sacrifices where needed.

I’m really interested in pursuing an engineering degree (looking into mechanical and hopefully pivot to aerospace) for my bachelor’s and possibly beyond. My main concern is whether that path is realistically manageable while maintaining a full time job and supporting my family.

I’ve been considering getting out and using my GI Bill to focus on school full-time, but that comes with its own challenges since I still need to provide steady income for my family.

I feel like I’m at a bit of a crossroads and would really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s been in a similar situation.

Any advice or help or input would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you all!
