Selling my 2004 RX8. Son off to college so abandoned plans to rebuild.

Approx. 80k miles. Not currently running.

Bad seals needs engine and paint job but straight body good interior.

Buyer must transport/tow.

Last registration 10/21.

COE delayed for Pest scheduling timing. Buyers agent playing games

Termite inspection clearance was agreed to for close of escrow.

Roughly $4k to spray crawlspace and drill concrete around perimeter of house.

No problem.

Asked pest company what date they can do treatment and it’s 7 days past COE. They are booked solid. Other pest companies- the same.

Informed buyers agent that pest contract signed and date scheduled with 50% deposit paid.

Further agreed to escrow holdback of $8k to ensure buyers are comfortable.

Buyers agent immediately called title company and lenders to suspend COE for extension. Adding at least 9 days and hinted that her buyers might want to cancel for non-performance.

For termite prevention spray?

This sounds very unreasonable but my agent says I agreed and I’m not on time.

I can’t control that pest companies are slammed?

Should I call my lawyer? 1950s ranch with no serious termite problem just some cellulose debris on piece of plywood found in crawlspace
