My cat who normally Hates strangers loves my boyfriend why is this?
I (26m) recently brought home my boyfriend for the first time (24m). I live with my family and my 2 year old male cat. He's generally unfriendly with strangers he won't his scratch or bite at people, but his body language makes it clear he isn't comfortable. However, when my bf walked in and rubbed the place between his eyes just above his nose. He then processed to fallow us into the kitchen and lay between us in a chair at the dining table and fell asleep. Later that afternoon, my bf fell sick, and when I brought him downstairs to get some water, the cat rolled over on his back, looking for belly rubs something he's only let the 4 of us who live here do. The next morning, the cat ran into my room while we were getting dressed. Run straight past me to look for affection off my bf.
Iv genuinely never seen him take to someone so quickly. I'm not at all worried about him and he's generally a very happy cat
