-Author's Notice Translation-
I am adding this due to the numerous inquiries regarding the return schedule. The reason I cannot provide an exact date is that, to put it bluntly, whenever a "boring" draft is produced, I scrap it, completely review the overall story, and redraw it from scratch. Because of this repetitive process, I cannot accurately estimate when the backlog of chapters (save chapters) will be completed. In fact, most of the sudden hiatuses during the serialization were retake issues because the drafts simply weren't fun enough. I haven't been very healthy in general, but I somehow managed to produce acceptable manuscripts by the deadline. Hiatuses only occurred when I had to scrap a chapter because it was purely uninteresting, or when I was too sick to properly storyboard. I think the only time I was completely immobilized by illness was right before the Season 2 hiatus. As a reader myself, I prioritize whether a story is fun or not, so I have demanded the same standard for my own work, serializing with the mindset of 'I would rather take a financial loss than publish a disappointing chapter.' Both positive and negative feedback from readers resulting from this are fair assessments. I am deeply sorry that this state of 'I'd rather not publish a disappointing chapter...' has been prolonged due to a major health issue. Please understand my caution in giving a specific timeframe, as speaking rashly could lead to further disappointment. However, I am at least prepared to return within this year without fail, and I will do my best to move up that date.
Staff recruitment has failed. It is difficult to find skilled and motivated individuals (even though I always offer pay equivalent to an author's manuscript fee to those whose skills are proven after an internship period...). I am looking for ways to minimize disruptions to the serialization. For this reason, I also need more backlog chapters. If anyone can produce coloring, monster art, or effect art of the same quality—using the Doom Breaker chapters as a reference—please send your portfolio to gr8sword@naver.com at any time.
I still cannot forget the shock and excitement when I first discovered The War of Genesis a long time ago. Becoming an author, collaborating with that franchise, and even receiving a personal autograph from Choi Yeon-gyu makes me feel incredibly honored and happy. Every time I look at the congratulatory artwork, my MP recovers, so this notice will remain pinned at the top for a while. I apologize to anyone who might find this inconvenient.
