Hey everyone, so I live in QC and I work in ON, for reasons. Because of that, I usually owe arounmd $6 to $8k on my tax return. My salary is about $140k.

What would be the best way to handle this situation:

Ask my employer to increase tax withheld at source (probably by around $500, $600 per monthly pay)

or

Increase my GRRSP contributions to maybe $12k to $13k to reduce the tax owed? (It wouldn't reduce tax owed to zero, but it would make the amount mucm more manageable, while at the same time increasing my savings)

What would be the best solution?
