Withdrawal From Wellbutrin and Auvelity

I’ve taken antidepressants for at least 20 years, first it was Prozac/Wellbutrin, then Zoloft/Auvelity. I discontinued Zoloft last year with my doctors instructions and had no issues. Then in early April, I did a two week taper off of Auvelity, again with the advice of my doctor.

Days after my final dose my legs started hurting all the time. It’s been a little over three weeks now, and my legs still feel fatigued, and achy. Some other symptoms I have of withdrawal are flu like aches and pains, hot and cold flushes constantly.

I’d like to hear from anyone else who has experienced this to find out if this ever goes away? I really don’t wanna go back on meds, but I don’t know how much longer I can live like this.

I suffered from debilitating PF for most of last year, I could not walk or ride a bike, if I wasn’t doing my physical therapy exercises, then I was sitting on my butt. In January of this year, I was so tired of the whole situation, I scheduled surgery for May to have the facia cut. Also in January, I stopped doing all my exercises and stretching because it just seemed like none of it was getting me anywhere. Then in February, things started getting better, weird. It’s almost like once I stop paying attention to it, it finally started to heal. It’s gotten to the point where I’ve even canceled my surgery.

However, it seems those 6 to 8 months where I was sitting around doing nothing did a number on my overall fitness. Even though I am able to walk more, ride my bike and play pickle ball, my fitness level just isn’t coming back..my legs are always tired and achy. I’m 60 years old and I realize that in general, my body is slowing down and not as fit as I used to be, this just seems extreme. Any sort of physical exertion wipes me out to the point where I have to take a nap.

Has anybody else encountered this after their PF has gotten better?
